The Path of the Yoga Teacher
This Interactive, Livestream Level 1/200-Hour Yoga Teacher training program allows you to slowly savor the wisdom of yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology. You will discover tools for your personal yoga and meditation practice, how to work with your friends and family, and then take those skills into a public classroom or private session.
This program was developed through the lens of social awareness and justice, along with adaptive/accessible yoga methodology. By combining traditional yoga theory and scientific truths, this yoga teacher training program allows you to cultivate a personal practice that fits your personal and professional goals, physical strengths and challenges, and community wellness initiatives.
Root to Rise
Yoga Lessons for Self-Practice
We begin with adaptive asana and meditation practices that allow us the time to learn, relearn, and develop an understanding our bodies and our breath in yoga.
Basic yoga philosophy and anatomy help fortify this understanding, allowing us to move ahead on our teaching path or linger in this space of discovery of our own self.
Bloom Where You're Planted
Teaching to Friends & Family
As our confidence grows, we may begin to work with others. Through teaching our friends, family, and fellow trainees, we begin to fortify the lessons we learned in our self-practice.
This process gives us the ability to relate our personal practice experience to others, safely and without judgment. By teaching others, we deepen our connection to these powerful yoga practices.
Cultivate & Celebrate
Public Classes & Private Sessions
This is what we came for, right?
Yes and no… Not everyone is ready to teach or enters into YTT to become a yoga teacher, and that is OK!
If you ARE ready to lead public yoga and meditation practices, this final step in our teacher training program is a deep dive into sequencing, cueing, and vital asana and meditation teaching techniques.
